Thirty years after my mother talked me out of art school, I've picked it up again.
I run, I hike, and I climb the hills and mountains of the American Southwest, and see grand vistas as well as minuscule bits of beauty in the patterns and colors. In my art, I try to represent the beauty that provides both a reprieve and a destination.
Tools of the Trade
A digital camera, and when I'm so inspired, graphite, ink, oils.
Being talked out of art school, I'm familiar with that. My father talked me out of music school 28 years ago. I plan on retiring from my job soon. I then plan on going to music school.
